With the development and progress of the industry of gypsum, the needs for gypsum powder is on the rise. At the same time, the gypsum powder production art is becoming better and better. The key process of the gypsum powder production is dehydration and it is also the most difficult part. Under this situation, we designed the new dehydration equipment that meets the product requirements for all kinds of gypsum powder – Gypsum powder produce Calcination production line (hot oil calcinator).
The natural gypsum powder includes anhydrous gypsum and CaS04.2H2O, if you want to commercialize the gypsum powder, you should adopt the CaS04.2H2O, after removing part of water by heating, it will become CaS04.1/2 H20. CaS04.1/2 H20 is the final product which you can use it to produce gypsum board other gypsum product.
After calcining, CaSO4.1/2H2O is widely used in paper faced gypsum board and gypsum block and painting gypsum powder and model.Natural gypsum generally includes dehydrate gypsum and anhydrous gypsum. In order to get the valuable materials, generally, we get semi-hydrated gypsum through heating the dehydrate gypsum.
The calcined semi-hydrated gypsum can widely be used for plasterboard, decoration board, gypsum block, stucco gypsum, and molding gypsum etcContent of CaSO4·2H2O in gypsum mine > 80%. The grade of mine and the crystal configuration will influence the quality of semi-hydrated gypsum.

Multiple processes are taken in production of the plant. First, gypsum ores are being crushed, conveyed and stored into raw material bin, and then the crushed gypsum ores get grinded into powder with fineness required by the raymond mill, and the gypsum powder is then conveyed into calcining section via metering feeding device to get calcined, and the calcined gypsum gets modified by grinder and cooled by cooling device. Finally, the finished gypsum is conveyed for storage.

Production process of natural gypsum powder:
Initial crushing of gypsum ore: jaw crusher or hammer crusher is usually used for crushing
Grinding of gypsum ore: The gypsum ore after preliminary crushing is sent to the mill for further fine grinding to obtain the required fineness of gypsum powder.
Calcination of gypsum ore: The ground gypsum ore is sent to the calciner for high temperature calcining. During calcination, the crystalline water in the gypsum ore is released to form the gypsum clinker.
Cooling of gypsum clinker: The calcined gypsum clinker will be cooled quickly through the cooling device to avoid secondary calcination
Gypsum powder after strict quality testing and quality control, qualified gypsum powder will be packaged or put into use for different construction and industrial applications.

Features of Our Natural Gypsum Plant
1. A material supplement stabilizing system is deployed to achieve stable supplement of the fluidized bed combustion boiler, and to stabilize material supplement and heating. Material supplement stabilizing system consists of material supplement stabilizing bin and conveying device (metering screw or belt weigher).
2. Calcining system applies hot air boiling furnace calcining process to perform even calcination on gypsum material.
3. Cooling device added to cool down calcined gypsum before it enters silo, to prevent gypsum from deterioration caused by over temperature.
4. Silo turn-over system: materials at different time periods feature different quality, therefore products made from them feature different quality. The silo turn-over system can evenly mix new and old materials, make the products share the same quality. Besides, the system prevents overheating deterioration caused by heat generated by powder accumulation.
5. The dust removal system applies a bag type dust collector, to ensure dust generated during pre-drying, conveying, grinding, calcination and aging processes get cleaned before discharging outside, to meet working environmental requirements.
6. Distributed control system is applied, to do centralized control on distributed devices.
