The DDSP2-40PV DC surge protection device (SPD) is designed for DC power supply systems.These units must be installed in parallel on the Dc networks to be protected and provide common and different modes protection, Its installed location are recommended at both ends of the DC power supply line (solar panel side and inverter/converter side), especially if the line routing is external and long.High energy MOV equipped with specific thermal disconnectors and related failure indicators. The DDSP2-40PV features a 35mm standard rail mount and incorporates a failure release mechanism. In cases of overheating, over-current, or SPD failure, the failure release automatically disconnects the protected equipment from the power supply and provides status indication (green for normal, red for abnormal). The module is also replaceable under operating voltage conditions.
