Usage of Polypropylene (PP) Fiber


1. Correct Dosage Calculation



  • Calculate the correct amount of fiber to be added based on the volume of concrete being mixed.

  • Recommended dosage: 0.9-1.2kg per cubic meter of mortar; 0.9-1.8kg per cubic meter of concrete.


2. Mixing Process



  • Add the fiber along with the aggregate into the mixer, ensuring the fiber is dispersed between the aggregates.

  • Dry mix for approximately 30 seconds, then add cement and water, and wet mix for another 30 seconds.


3. Sampling and Inspection



  • Conduct random sampling after mixing to ensure uniform dispersion of fibers.

  • Extend mixing time if fibers are not fully dispersed.


4. Standard Construction and Maintenance



  • The construction and maintenance process for concrete with added fibers is the same as for ordinary concrete.
