Microcrystalline wax, white amorphous non-crystalline solid wax, With C31-70 branched saturated hydrocarbon-based, with a small amount of cyclic, straight-chain hydrocarbon, odorless and tasteless. Insoluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in hot ethanol,soluble in benzene, ether and the like; with a variety of mineral wax, vegetable wax, and hot fat oil solubility.

Microcrystalline wax gel has high strength, good adhesion and protective properties. It can be used to manufacture several hydrocarbon-based greases for instrumentation and sealing, and can also be used as a Vaseline-based thickener.
Due to the microcrystalline characteristics of microcrystalline wax, the ointments, cooling oils, moisturizing creams, rouges, sunscreen and anti-cracking creams, hair wax, etc. made from it have fine texture and good flexibility.
