KIM PHAT PROFILE Developed from a state-owned handicraft cooperative, Kim Phat was established in 2008 and is located in the traditional handicraft village on the material core.
Kim Phat owns a total used area of over 6,000m2 of which about 4,000m2 is factory and warehouse. The workshop system is arranged in accordance with each production stage: raw material processing area, knitting area, drying area, cleaning area, label hanging area, packaging area, storage area...
Office staff always maintain about 10-15 people (with labor contracts and insurance premiums) The direct workforce at the factory always maintains 50 workers (of which about 20 have signed labor contracts and paid insurance and the others are seasonal workers) The knitting worker force in the village is over 5,000 people.
We entirely hand-produce items made from natural materials such as bamboo, water hyacinth, sea grass, straw, rattan... Kim Phat products are very diverse and available in many markets such as Germany, France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Japan, and Thailand...
