Crataegus Blend Extract
Crataegus is a tree whose various species grow in Israel, Europe and other places in the world. Fruits, flowers and leaves have been used in traditional medicine for many years and it is considered one of the most important plants for the treatment of cardiovascular disease. The fruits encourage and improve cardiac output, improve blood flow in the arteries (particularly in the coronary arteries) and act as a strengthening element (tonic) for the cardiovascular system. Flowers and leaves have an effect that works to strengthen the heart muscle, in addition to a soothing and liberating action. Their balancing and unique effect on the "seam" between the nervous system and the cardiovascular system, calms in cases of overload (quickened pulse, palpitations, etc.) and strengthens in cases of weakness (heart failure, etc.). The flowers and leaves have mainly been studied for their strengthening activity in cases of hypertension and heart failure.
