The prestigious Grappa Barricata is the result of a careful selection of the finest Trentino pomace: Pinot Nero and Chardonnay grapes distilled in discontinuous still steam by our master distiller, respecting the local tradition.
The Grappa obtained is left to age for at least 24 months in small Limousin oak barrels, placed in the silence of a dark environment. Slowly, the Grappa, in full harmony, extracted from the wood a natural color, a mature character, full and refined to achieve a blend of flavors unique and unmistakable.
Awards and acknowledgments
Grappa Barricata was honored as “Trester des Jahres” (Grappa of the Year) at international competitions ISW 2015. Grappa Barricata also was awarded with the Gold Medal in the Prestigious ISW 2015, 2014 and 2013 (always gold) and Gold Medal as “Grappa of Excellence” in the competition “Gold Alembic 2012”. Bottles are marked by the stamp of the competition in the testimony of the excellence of this grappa.
