Apr.1992 Avril was established by Masami Fukui and Setsuko Torii who is the knitwear designer.

Sep.1999 Opened the yarn shop AVRIL in Kyoto, Fujii Daimaru.
Sep.2000 Opened the yarn shop AVRIL in Kanagawa.
Apr.2001 Moved the head office to Kyoto Kitaku Kamigamo and started mail-order service.
Sep.2001 Came out original rigid heddle loom.
Nov.2003 Moved the shop in Kanagawa to Kichijoji in Tokyo, and opened the new shop,Kichijyoji shop.
Oct.2004 Published the book of the collection of works made by the rigid heddle loom ' where does the present arrive' by Masami Fukui.
May.2005 Published the book of finger garter knitting devised by Masami Fukui 'kawaii ito ni deattara'.
Oct.2005 Published the book of the collection of works made by the rigid heddle loom 'the presents from sheeps' from Maria book company.
