     Machining as one of the standard precision processings is very popular, but it turns out to be costly for the production of components with complex design and high accuracy because such components require more processing steps.

     3D-MIM® provides you with one solution for the production of such small metal components. It realises the designs which machining cannot create. 

     This is a sample named "Ant's nest" including inner flow paths with free curve and dead end. These designs within the components are not to be produced through normal injection moulding. 

     Furthermore, manufacturing such components with machining is still not possible. Its surface on the inner flow paths is very smooth so that even the latest model of 3D printer cannot finish.






     Our 3D-MIM® technology helps the production of metal components with complex designs such as undercut, hollow structure which are not possible with normal injection moulding or those which require many minute cavities for moulding.

     First, a plastic mould is created so that it corresponds perfectly to the original inner structure of the components. This plastic mould, called "sacrificial plastic mould (SP-mould) ", is put into the mould. After that, the MIM-feedstock will be injected over the SP-mould.

     Through debinding and sintering steps, the SP-mould will be decomposed, keeping the detailed inner structure.





    
     As well as the other μ-MIM® technologies, the 3D-MIM® technology keeps high accuraccy of the small metal components with complicated design.

Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established in January 1972 as a plastic injection moulding manufacturer. Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. has obtained ISO13485 in May 2019. TAISEI KOGYO (THAILAND) CO., LTD. was established in August 2011 and started its operation in 2012. We maintain the same production standard as Japanese factory.
