In 1939 at the request of the Pediatric Clinic of Naples our laboratory formulated a completely natural galenic preparation, that had an excellent clinical response and was much appreciated by the pediatric class of the time and by mothers. In those days, not having modern drugs available, university researchers thought that a preparation to be inserted in the bath and that carried out some mild actions for the treatment of colds and to help sleep in cooled babies was a good solution.

For this purpose, a product was developed containing extracts and oils of vegetable origin to which the name of SILVANA vials was attributed as evidence of the woody origin of the excipients.

We strongly believe in those ancient galenic preparations that did not involve the use of complex and sometimes aggressive formulations for children's skin.
