1. Equipment use
This line mainly adopting copper cathode as raw material(shaft furnace and holding furnace), is specially designed to produce ø8.0mm low oxygen and bright copper rods by means of continuous casting and rolling.

6. Equipment features
6.1 Casting machine
The casting machine is a five-wheel structure. The steel strip does not completely surround the copper crystalline wheel with trapezoidal grooves on the cylindrical surface, forming a continuous closed casting cavity to complete the continuous casting of copper liquid.
The steel belt is guided by four guide wheels and is fitted with a crystal wheel. One of the guide wheels has a pneumatic tensioning device. The tension of the steel strip can be adjusted by adjusting the air pressure. To ensure that the copper liquid does not leak, another steel strip is provided. The small-diameter pressing wheel makes the steel belt and the crystal wheel tight, and the pressing wheel is mounted on the elastic floating mechanism to ensure the pressure stability.
The cooling of the crystallizer wheel is divided into ten zones, and the cooling water of each zone can be adjusted separately, with pressure display.
The cooling water nozzle adopts metallurgical professional nozzle, which can refine the cooling water and then spray it at a certain angle.
The copper liquid flow control device is controlled by the geared motor through the screw guide rail to raise or lower the gate to control the flow of copper liquid injected into the crystallizing wheel.
The main components are mounted on the same base plate.
6.2 Continuous casting and rolling machine
The rolling mill was modified by our company to absorb the Morgan Mill from Germany's CIMA and the US South Line. The mill was replaced by one main motor from former roller with many motors, which reduced the investment cost for customers and facilitated installation and commissioning. The two-roller mill overcomes the critical defect of Y-type mill that emulsion and oil can not be separated. For two-roller rolling mill, the emulsion is only used 3-5%, which can reduce production costs. The rollers can be replaced within a few minutes. Y type rollers need a few hours. In dealing with plugging accident, also only a few minutes, but Y-type must replace the rolling stand. So two roller mill has longer life time, and with fewer spare parts. Adjust the rolling pass for per rolling stand need less than one minute. The total investment is much less than the Y-type. This is mainly shown in the production of higher efficiency.
6.3 Take up machine
The production line is provided with the function of continuous reverting for rod surface and fast cooling to assure the light and temperature of finished rod can be controlled.
