Fire retardant XPE foam insulation board

Fire retardant XPE foam is made of polyethylene resins adding with fire retardant chemical ingredients. It has a high level of chemical cross linking and also has very good fire proof property. The result is semi-rigid product with a fine uniform cell structure that is suitable for use in a wide variety of applications.

Our featured foam is able to be supplied in rolls, sheets, boards to meet your demands.

Q:  Is our fire retardant polyethylene foam imported?
A:  It is proudly Chinese-made, although 95% of raw materials are imported from Korea.

 

Q: Why is our products cheaper than other competitors?
A: Because of sales volume. We can effectively lower its prices without sacrificing quality. Sales volume gives us the leverage in negotiating raw material prices with suppliers and the edge in terms of lower overhead costs.

 

Q: What thickness of PE foam do you recommend? Why?
A:  5mm and 10mm with double-sided pure aluminum foil. Because these two thickness give the best value for your money.

 

Q: What’s the difference between single and double-sided alum foil/film?
A: Double alum performs better by providing you with a “second reflector”, since there will be two shiny sides.  An aluminum foil’s low emittance surface will release very little heat (if any) to the adjacent air space.

 

Q: What’s the difference between pure aluminum foil & aluminized film?
A: Aluminum foil has higher reflectance and lower emittance than aluminized film. Therefore, it will definitely perform better.

 

Q: What is the maximum serviceable temperature of reflective foam?
A: 92℃. Melting point is 110℃. Flash point is above 232℃

 

Q: What is the life-span of our fire retardant PE foam?
A: If properly installed, our foam should last more than 10 years.
