General Introduction

 

Terasun upgraded superior performance class A1 fireproof waterproof plasterboard  as TSM---Terasun Silicate Magnesium board. Using foam particles, cement, plant fiber, glass fiber cloth, non-woven fabrics, etc as raw material, Terasun upgraded plasterboard is made through gelling, pressing and other special techniques and is a new type material renonwn for stability in performance.

With Great Fireproof

    The non combustible plasterboard is rated class A and would lead to no noxious fumes.

With Excellent Waterproof

    The waterproof plasterboard can maintain stability in performance and not expand in places of high humidity.

With High Intensity

    The plasterboard is solid that even board in 6mm are more solid than paperbacked plasterboard in 9.5mm. The wall made from magnesium composite board is very solid and substantial, not easily damaged by shocks.

Thermal Insulation and Sound Insulation

    Terasun plasterboard has great thermal insulation and heat preservation. The partition wall with 100mm thickness is better in terms of heat preservation than normal brick wall. In the meantime, it has very good sound insulation.

Long Endurance in Use

    The upgraded plasterboard has a stable performance, acid and alkali resistance. In addition, it has no getting damp and there's no afraid of insects, which will ensure a super long endurance.

Low Shrinkage

    The upgraded plasterboard is made through advanced techniques like pressing by advanced components. The dry state shrinkage ration and expansion rate are well controlled and it's the best boards among all inorganic boards with respect to the performance.

Convenient for Construction

1.Fireproof

Terasun upgraded plasterboard is with great waterproof and fireproof. It has passed SGS approval Class A1 incombustible test under EN 13501-1 standards. Being immersed in water for days, it can still regain its original performance after drying naturally.

 

Pls kindly note, the fish tank in below picture is made of TSM board.

3. Bening Strength

The strength of the plasterboard depends on the strength of the outer layer. Once the out layer drops or broken, the board will be easily to be broken or even to be crushed. For TSM, its strength is much more stable and higher. Usually, TSM 6mm can replace of Gypsum Board 9mm, TSM 9mm can replace of 12mm. For partiton wall, you usually need 2pcs in pair plasterboard, which in total counts 4pcs. But using TSM, only 2pcs is enough.

TSM can be cut with a knife. It is quite easy and fast for work. There is no dust or poisonous susbstance while cutting, much more healthy, no harm to human at wall. This may shorten the project completion time.

Packing & Loading

Usually packed with strong wooden pallet, also packed according to cusyomers' request is also available.

 

Delivery & transportation

1.For large quantity or big order, transportation by sea is highly recommended.

2.For small orders or medium quantity, all transportation are available.

 

Usages & Handling

 

Tool
Use the regular tools for working with woods, no special tools or skills are needed.

Cutting
Use finer saw or electric saw to make sure the cut surface is smooth.

Drills
Both high and low-speed machines are fine (put a scratch material underneath the place to be drilled so that the drilled surface is smooth too)

Sanding
Regular sandpaper is good enough to ensure a smooth surface.

Moving
Avoid damaging the edges of the board made rail during transportation.

Nails
Directly put the galvanized nails into the board but the location should be more than 8mm far away from the edges.

Bolts
The locations of bolts should also be more than 8mm away from the edges. If necessary, workers can drill holes before putting in the bolts.

Paint
Both oil and water-based paints are appropriate. To increase the resistance to moisture, use rubber or Epoxy paints.

Wallpaper
All kinds of wallpaper or plastic wall cloth are good but the size and the location of the wallpaper needs to be accurate.

Storage

 

1.Terasun boards should be stored flat, raised from the ground on a pallet, in dry conditions indoors and be under cover.

2.Boards should not be leant upright for long periods of time.

3.Any moisture allowed to infiltrate between the sheet will cause surface staining (though it won't greatly influence the boards' performance).

4.They should be protected from the weather and other trades on site all the time.

5.Boards should alway be lifted by 2 people and not dragged across each other to prevent unnecessary sratching or damage.

6.Boards should be carried on edge and extra precaution should be taken to protect the visible front and corners.
