3 in 1 honeycomb dehumidifier dryer   

VCD series of honeycomb integrated conveying dehumidifiers realizes three functions in one single machine, namely dehumidification, drying and two-section material conveying. This machine is suitable for engineering plastics with a strong moisture-absorption ability such as PA, PBT, PET, etc. It can not only dehumidify and dry various kinds of raw materials, but also convey the material to the plastic molding machine. This not only solves the problem of moisture-reabsorption for those plastic particles with strong moisture absorption ability, but also is the key to quality plastic products after molding. The dew-point of the imported honeycomb dehumidifying rotor used on the HDC conveying dehumidifier can reach -40°C or lower ideally, while the dew-point of the optional honeycomb dehumidifying rotor can reach lower than -50°C ideally.

1) Microcomputer controller adopted.

2) This HDC integrated conveying dehumidifier is equipped with imported honeycomb dehumidifying rotor from Proflute, a Swedish company.

3) Micro-motor designed with the latest pendulum structure for easier achievement of dew-point.

4) Suitable for use on engineering plastic materials with strong absorption ability such as PA, PC, PBT, PET, etc.

5) Integration of three functions in one machine, namely dehumidifying, drying and two-section material conveying. Three-section or four-section material conveying is also optional.

6) Air blowing tube designed under the heat-preserving drying barrel to effectively avoid heat dissipation and improve drying efficiency.

7) Using dual-fin cooler design to ensure a lower return air temperature and dew-point.

8) Equipped with material conveying, recycling and regenerating filter to keep the key components such as the fan and honeycomb from dust contamination.

9) The conveying system contains a material cut-off valve to make sure no remains in the tube.

10) Optional dew-point meter with real-time display of dew-point detected.

11)With recyclable and resettable filter to make sure the honeycomb is not contaminated.

12) A thoughtful multiple security device built in.

13) Clear fault code display.

1. Application scope

 VCD series dehumidifying dryer gathers dehumidification, drying and two-stage conveying three functions, is very suitable for drying engineering plastics materials with hygroscopicity such as PA, PC, PBT, PET,TPU,ABS, PE, etc. it has dew-point of below -40°C under ideal condition.

 

 

2. Features

Standard configuration

1) Combine the function of dehumidifying, drying and two-stage conveying into single unit.

2) VCD Compact Dryers are equipped with honeycomb rotor to obtain stable low dew-point drying air.

3) Feeding system is equipped with shut-off valve to ensure no surplus raw material in hopper tubes. 

4) Microprocessor and temperature controllor are standard equipments.

5) Heat preserved drying hopper barrel adopts down blowpipe design and collocates with cyclone air exhaust to avoid heat lost and improve drying efficiency. 

 

Accesssory option

1) PLC control and touch HMI are optional, making operation convenient for machine’s automatic running.

2) Dew-point monitor is optional to monitor dew-point value at all times

 

3.Working principle

Dehumidifying system: damp and hot air from dry material barrel is blown into rotor after cooled. Moisture from the air is absorbed by rotor and is then adsorbed by regeneration heating air.Two strands of airflow function on the rotor. And with the rotation, moisture from the air is absorbed and expelled after absorbed regeneration air to form stable low dew-point air, which is dried to the drying temperature and then is blown into material barrel to closed circle to dry material.

 

 

Suctioning system: material is absorbed into barrel from storage barrel or other storage containers. When the magnetic reed switch detects no material, suction motor runs to produce vacuum inside vacuum hopper. Raw material in storage barrels is absorbed into suction hopper due to air pressure difference.When the time is completed, suction motor stops. Raw materials drop into drying hopper barrel due to gravity. The dried raw material after dried from is taken out to the hopper with photosensor installed on moulding machine or other hopper form drying hopper barrel.
