Pharmacological action

Colistin sulfate is a polypeptide antibiotic which penetrates into and disrupts the bacterial cell membrane. It has strong 
anti-bacterial function against gram-negative, such as E.coli, Salmonella, dysentery bacillus and vibrio, it also has strong 
bactericidal action against pseudomonas aeruginosa and vibrio. This product is used to treat the gastrointestinal tract 
infections caused by gram-negative bacteria. It can be added to feed additives as the growth promotor for poultry and pig.
