The MICR1250 multi-functional MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) reader integrates check reading and magnetic card
reading,which is a new generation of financial industry application product developed by our company under the platform of ARM Cortex M1.It has the characteristics of fast recognition, high recognition efficiency and easy to use. This product can be used
with computer or terminal equipment, mainly used for the front or back office business of Banks or other financial institutions,
to provide the signal reading of magnetic notes and magnetic cards.

1. The connection with the host on the MICR1250, there is a 6-pin socket (RJ12) that connects RS232 or PS/2 cable to the host's serial or PS/2 interface. And also provide a USB-B port for USB interface.
2. Power Supply Mode MICR1250 provides users two options for power supply.
Option 1: DC 12V external power adapter, connect to 5.5/2.1 DC jack on MICR1250;
Option 2: Power from 5V USB or PS/2 .
For USB communication , connect from Host-USB port to USB-B port on MICR1250;
For RS232 communication , connect DB9F and USB connector to host , RJ12 to the port on MICR1250;
For PS/2 communication , connect PS/2 to Host , RJ12 to the port on MICR1250.
3. MICR unit recognized font
The MICR unit can read the E13B font that conforms to ISO1004 standard magnetic ink code printing specification, and the details can be referred to ISO/IEC 1004 standard.CMC7 standard can also be selected. See related standard for CMC7 font and corresponding reading information code.

4. DIP Dial Switch Settings
Inside the MICR1250 multifunctional media reader, the circuit board is near the bottom side of the housing, with a four-digit DIP switch. The DIP switch is used to set parameters such as communication and other parameters.
Option 1: DC 12V external power adapter, connect to 5.5/2.1 DC jack on MICR1250;
Option 2: Power from 5V USB or PS/2 .
