• How the block ice machine works

1. Freezing period - ice forms in the rows of ice cans which are put into  big brine tank full of brine water,  after heat exchange with refrigerant flowing around the brine tank, temp of brine water would drop as low as about - 20 degree, meanwhile, fresh water in ice cans become chill and start freezing due to heat absorbed by brine water .
2. Thawing period - when freezing period is finished, rows of ice cans will be hoisted  and put into thawing tank ,and warm water inside would melt outer edge of  block ice within 3minutes.
3. Ice dumping period - ice cans will be hoisted by crane row by row and put them on the dumper until ice slide out .

Ice can of block ice machine are made of stainless steel or galvanized steel with thickness of 1.5mm or 1.6mm

1.  Can is designed with top area bigger than the bottom in order to dump block ice easily ,
2.  Ice can is made of galvanized sheet or stainless steel, anti-rust ,corrosion prevention
3. Adopted thick galvanized sheet  with top weilding craftmanship, intensity guaranteed.
