Q:Which caps are best for race/training swimming?

A:The silicon and latex caps are best for fitness swimming. They will reduce drag and keep your hair away from your face and stop it from being exposed to the sun and pool chemicals.

 

Q:What sizes do the caps come in?

A:All of the caps are one universal size meaning one size fits all. They are made out of stretchy material to be able to fit most heads.

 

Q:What is the thermal cap most often used for?

A:The thermal cap is best for those who are swimming in very cold water. It helps keep your head warm, similar to a wet suit for your body. The best time to use them is in open water swimming/triathlons.

 

Q:How can I insure the cap will stay on when I am in the water?

A:Each cap has some sort of reinforcement to make sure they stay on snuggly while swimming. The thermal cap and spandex cap both have an elastic edge. The latex cap is ribbed edge and the silicon cap was a rippled edge that both keep the cap from slipping very well.

 

Q:I have a lot of hair, will these caps hold all of it?

A:They should as they stretch a lot. We recommend first putting your hair in a bun before trying to put it under the cap.

 

Q:Will these keep my hair from getting wet in the water?

A:No, they will not. The swim caps are not completely waterproof, but do help keep the hair from exposure to chemicals and sunlight.
