Electric Gold Kiln Furnace to Melt the Gold

  Model JC-K-220-2(220V 2Kw) furnace from JIUCHEN features a controller that is operational whether the furnace is on or off. Once you've reached your casting temperature, you can turn the machine off and still actively monitor the metal temperature--ideal for casting multiple alloys. You can remove one crucible and pour the metal, then insert the next crucible and adjust the temperature for your next melt.

Use JIUCHEN furnace to efficiently melt non-ferrous alloys for casting and making ingots. To pour molten metal, use the included tongs to lift out the crucible or use the built-in handle to simply pick up and pour directly from the furnace.

            Electric Gold Furnace Instruction   

The furnace has two on/off switches: the GREEN switch turns on the temperature thermostat allowing you to set the desired melting temperature.

The RED switch turns on the heating element to start the melting process.

 

The thermostat has two digital read-outs: the bottom readout (SV) displays the setting you enter into the furnace. The top read-out (PV) displays the actual temperature inside the crucible during operation.

 

To set the desired melting temperature, turn on green on/off switch. Wait a few seconds; the bottom (SV) readout should show the default temperature setting of 1950°F.

 

To change the temperature setting, simply press the left arrow key to move the cursor to the proper desired digit and press the up or down keys to adjust it up or down. Adjust each digit to the desired setting.

 

When you are ready, place the metal pieces or grain in the crucible and set the crucible in the furnace. Close the lid.

 

Press the red button to start the melting process.

 

When the metal is molten and has reached casting temperature, turn off the red switch. Open the lid and pour the metal into your prepared flask.
