PSM series rubber roller grinding machine is specially designed and manufactured to replace the past roller processing method by metallic manufacturing equipment.
Mounted grinding head on the standard metal processing lathe is one of the traditional methods to manufacture rubber roller, which leads the quality of roller is difficult to reach the higher requirement.
With the consideration of the rubber characteristics, safe production and higher efficiency, we designed the PSM series grinding machine with lower and wider lathe body to reduce vibration, and selected alloy grinding wheels for surface processing.
We also provide the CNC grinding machine with grooving functions for you to select.
PSM series rubber roller grinding machine is specially designed and manufactured to replace the past roller processing method by metallic manufacturing equipment. Mounted grinding head on the engine lathe is the past method to manufacture roller, which the quality of roller is difficult to reach the requirement of the present standard. The main reason lies in the structure of lathe.
After all, it is not the grinding machine; the moving spaces of the big and medium carriage table are larger than that of grinding machine. Therefore, vibration may be produced while in the grinding processing, which will generate ripple at the surface of processing rollers. Further, due to the width limit of the guide-rail of lathe, the way of mounted grinding head is hardly to ensure the stability while in operation.
The structure of PSM series grinding machine is to be designed to make up for the shortage of present lathe. By means of assembly two medium carriage tables, the grinding machine enjoys the advantages of more functions than engine lathe and its performance and operating stability have reached the accuracy requirement. Then why the modern rubber roller professional manufacturing technology gradually stops to use cylindrical grinding machine? It is because of the low rotation speed of grinding wheel, the linear velocity is only 40m per second. That is the reason that causes low production efficiency. Further, while in grinding the stiff and wearable rubbers, and when the grinding from one side to the other, the geometric size of both ends of roller is hardly to keep consistency due to the abrasion of vitrified abrasive wheels. The generating heat in the course of grinding will be accumulated in the vitrified wheels which are difficult to radiate, therefore, the vitrified wheels have the hazard to explosive, more seriously, and it may cause fatal accident.
