Coal Based Granular Activated Carbon for Water Purification

WATERCARB Water Treatment Activated Carbon is particularly effective in the removal of organic contaminants such as pesticides, chlorinated and aromatic solvents, oils, colour bodies, phenols, tannin, taste and odour producing compounds and thrialomethane precursor. It can be used for the removal of excess of oxidant such as chlorine, ozone, hydrogen peroxide and permanganate.

WATERCARB Activated Carbon is suitable for different applications such as purification of water intended for human consumption, process water and condensate stream purification, and wastewater treatment.

WATERCARB Activated Carbon is used in purification and decolourisation process of chemicals and food stuff and in MEA and DEA purification.

WATERCARB Activated Carbon fulfils the standard UNIISO EN 12915 “Product used for treatment of water intended for uman consumption – Granular Activated Carbon”. When exhausted WATERCARB Activated Carbon can be reactivated.
