TPU RESIN / Air Hose Making TPU RESIN
This product is extrusion molding thermoplastic TPU resin. We have polyester and polyether types. The hardness range is from 80 shore A to 95 shore A.
This type of TPU resin can be used to make all kinds of pneumatic tools, pneumatic & hydraulic machinery, construction and various pneumatic tools. It also can be used to make film, sheet, cable, wire and transmission belt.
Advantage of TPU resin
Our TPU resin has high transparency, good toughness, abrasion resistance, UV resistance, hydrolysis resistance, low temperature resistance, oil resistance and so on.

Polyether based TPU resin has following characteristics

Excellent hydrolytic stability |
Resistance to weak Acids/Bases |
Recommended for applications undergoing medium to high stress |
Burst Pressure Resistance: About the same as Ester based tubing |
Polyether-based polyurethanes remain stable in water as warm as 50oC (122oF) for long periods. Not recommended for running water over 70oC (158oF). Water absorption is a very low 0.3% to 1% by weight, and volume swell is negligible. |
Demonstrate better durability than Ester material based products (around 5 years, versus the 3 years shelf life of Polyester based products, i.e. tubing) |
