This reflector can be used with sodium and metal halide lighting systems. The reflector has a air cooled design, which draws air past the lamp through outlet at the rear of the lamp achieves rapid heat dispersion. And adds glass for maximum cooling. Plants can be placed much closer to the hood without fear of scorching. The reduction in heat also has the added benefit of prolonging your lamp life.
