Physicochemical Property : white minute powder, easy to absorb moist, soapy feeling, combustive, innocuous, specific gravity 1.08g/cm3 , melting point:145°C--155°C,insoluble in water, soluble in hot organic solvent and acid. It will decompose with strong acid into stearic acid and calcium salt.
