Overview
Chopped Strand Mat is a non-woven reinforcement material. It is made by cutting continuous roving, randomly dispersing the short strands, and bonding them into a thin sheet.
Also known as veil and CSM, glass-based non-wovens have many benefits for manufacturers and end-users, such as their dimensional stability and tear strength, and the fact that glass fibers do not absorb moisture or support mold and mildew growth.
