ABOUT UNIPHOS:
Phosphorus is vital dietary element for growth of birds and is essential for egg production and eggshell quality. The phosphorus availability from palnt originated ingredients like maize, soybean meal and other cereals is limited because of the fact that most of the phosphours is in the form of phytates i.e. Myoinsitol hexaphosphates. Phosphorus present in Phytates as a complex of cations i.e.Ca, Mg, Zn, K and proteins. Chickens are not capable of producing phytase enzyme in the gastrointestinal tract to hydrolyze phytates.
This results in higher incorporation levels of Dicalcium Phosphate (DCP) in the feed. Addition of enzyme Phytase to the feed enhances the availability of phytate bound inorganic phosphorus. The addition of phytase will substantially reduce the levels of DCP added to the feed. Maxiphos offers you excellent grade Phytase containing minimum 2500 FTU/ g.
Addition of Maxiphos to the feed not only reduces incorporation levels of DCP but also gives more scope to bring down feed cost by adjusting levels of protein & amino acids
