The company primarily engages in production and sales as a manufacturer of tableware. Tsubame is an industrial town situated roughly in the middle of Niigata Prefecture, known as a main production site for metal tableware (cutlery).
Metal manufacturing was said to have started there in the early Edo Period of Japanese history. Throughout this period, copperware, pipes, files, writing brushes, ink cases and countless other products of outstanding creativity and skill were produced.
The skill of these ""Edo Period Craftsman"" has yielded metal tableware and metal housewares known the world over. Today, ""World's TSUBAME"" is a name that continues to gain wide recognition as a nexus of metal manufacturing, including all varieties of modern processes, such as pressing, machining (casting, cutting and grinding), precision sheet metal working, welding, surface treating and coating.
