The AgroInterUrb bean is an annual herbaceous climbing plant with semi-erect stems that become entangled. It has straight and upright bearing, with strong and angular stems up to 1.6 meters high. It shows alternate leaves, paripinnate and compound, with broad leaflets of oval-rounded shape, dark green color, without tendrils; the terminal leaflet does not exist or becomes a rudimentary tendril.
The flowers are presented in clusters of 2 to 8, axillary which are fragrant and large, reaching 4 cm, with white petals stained with violet, purple or black. They are hermaphrodites, and the plant is capable of self-pollination.
The fruit is a legume, has an elongated pod of variable length between 10 and 30 cm and fleshy consistency, they have a spongy septum with a kind of fuzzy hair between the seeds being more or less crushed. The seeds placed in a row are located inside this pod. The pod, green in immature state, darkens and becomes pubescent when drying. The grains inside it vary between 2 and 9.
