Botanical Name: The plant kingdom has two names christened for Chamomile German Oil - Matricaria recutita and Matricaria chamomilla. |
Origin: There are indicators of Nepal as the place of origin of Chamomile German Oil, whereas some suggest Bosnia or Bulgaria as its native land. |
Form: It has a watery-viscosity fluid form. |
Scent: It emits a sweet, apple-like aroma. |
Shade and Appearance: It comes as clear light Blue shaded to our eyes. |

Chemical constituents: German Chamomile oil contains Chamazulene, α-Bisabolol, Bisabolol Oxides A &B and Bisabolone Oxide A as its major constituents. |
Extraction method: The Matricaria recutita tree leaves are steam-distilled to extract the German Chamomile oil. |
Gels well with: The German Chamomile oil shares a good chemistry with Benzoin and Bergamot, Citrus Oils, Clary Sage, Frankincense, Geranium, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Lavender, Marjoram, Neroli, Patchouli, Rose, Rosemary, Tea Tree and Ylang Ylang oils. |
