RAW MATERIAL

Sarkanda | Most available environmentally friendly natural material having superior properties i.e. flexibility, resistance and easy |
Pula | The Pula is the part of the SARKANADA. It is used to covered the shape of Edge of SARKANDA Sticks. |
Rassi | A group of Natural MUNJ Baan, Cotton and Nylon Yarns is used for tying the bamboo pieces together to form the stool. |
Faux Leather | It is used to cover the Mohri and sometimes, the entire top is covered with it |
Making Process
Sarkanda cut into separate parts like Tuliya to make chajj, Munj for the ropes, Pula for Mohri Bandhna and sarkanda. Thicker yarn is used in the center of Mudha so that it remains sturdy and thinner yarns in both the ends.
