Boydur® M12 is a two components, MMA based mortar. It is suited for inside and outside areas. It can be used as a floor material for the areas, which have heavy traffic and chemical resistance. Where to Use:
Boydur® M12 is used on cement, brick, mosaic (terrazzo). It has a very strong connection where it is applied. It has thermoplastic flexibility (If the surface needs a more elastic mortar, please check the technical data of Boydur® A15 and Boydur® A125.). Boydur® M12 is a very good solution for fixing the machines, columns, etc. to the floor (Anchorage). Because of the curing period, the application will not effect the normal traffic of the area, comparable the application of other types of mortars.

Tools:
* Boydur® A10: Primer of the Boydur® M12. Apply Boydur® A10 with brush and/or roller over the surface. It needs approx.200-300gr. /m2. It dries in 1 hour. * Boydur® FA: If the surface is very strong and flat cement, use Boydur® FA to make it rough. A rough surface has a better connection than a flat surface. * Brush and Roller: For Boydur® A10 and Boydur® FA application. * Hilti: To clean pieces of the surface. * Emery paper or machine: To clean the connect lines and mistakes over the Boydur® M12 surface. * Trowel: To apply Boydur® M12. * Mixer: To mix A+B component homogenously. * Boydur® S90: To clean the application tools.
Preparing the surface:
* The surface must be clean, dry and in good condition before the application. If it is a new surface wait for the solidification time (e.g. 28 days for cement) * The air circulation of the application area must be in good condition. You also need light for night application and electricity for application tools. * Use Boydur® A10, before Boydur® M12 application.
Application:
* Be sure that the surface is in correct condition for application. * Apply Boydur® A10 with Brush and Roller. It dries in 1 hour. * Mix A+ B components of Boydur® M12 homogenously for approx.2-2, 5 minutes. After mixing it must look like a normal cement mortar. * Throw it on the surface, where Boydur® A10 already applied. Help with trowel to spread it. It dries in 1 hour. * Fix all mistakes with emery paper or machine. * Clean the application tools with Boydur® S90. * Flooring application with Boydur® M12 needs experience. Attention:
* Don’t do any application, if the surface is not clean, dry and in good conditions. * Don’t mix any other chemicals, which are not written on this technical data. It will decrease the quality and long lasting of our products. * After mixing the A+B Components you have approx. 25 minutes to do the application. (Pot-life). Because of that, check all the details which may interrupt the application and do not wait after mixing. * Before application we recommend to implement sample for finding problems, which may effects on application period.
