About our Turnout Rugs
OUTER FABRIC : We make Turnout rugs on 600 Denier, 1200 Denier and 1680 Denier Waterproof Breathable outer Fabrics. Our 600D and 1200D are Ripstop while 1680 is Oxford weave. These Fabrics have PU Coating inside which is Hydrophilic (Water Loving) in nature which draws excess sweat and moisture to it. Temperature differences between the air inside and outside the rug/blanket then force moisture outwards. Breathability the MVT (Molar Value Transmission) is measure in gms/m2/24 Hours. Higher the MVT value more breathable the fabric is. The waterproofness of these fabrics are 3000 mm and Breathability ranges from 3000-8000 MVT.
LINING : Lining is mainly Poly/Cotton commonly known as Swiss cotton also use nylon lining. It has got good moisture wicking property. We also make Turnout rug with fleece lining. If we use fleece lining then we don’t use any other filler.

FILLER : Fillers Used in these turnout rugs are mainly synthetic which are from 100 GSM to 400 GSM. No rug is ever 100% Waterproof. This is because rugs contain stitching, webbing & fastenings that can not always be tape seamed or heat-sealed to prevent water penetration.
TAPED SEAM : All Waterproof rugs are Taped Seams at Stitching Joints. Zero Breathability state even for highly breathable rugs: During heavy rain the outer pores of the rugs are covered from water that make impossible for air inside of the rug to come outside at that time rug is in 0 Breathability state, which makes sweaty inside of the rug, that sometimes misunderstand by leaking of the rug.
WASHING INSTRUCTION FOR WATER PROOF BREATHABLE RUGS :
1. Wash in under 30 Degree Celsius water.
