Surface Preparation
The surface must be free from dust, oil, grease, loose particles, etc. Prior filling HomeSure Crack Filler on internal surface - existing painter's putty or POP must be removed till plaster surface is exposed. Cut the crack in “V” shape. Cracks must be widened minimum up to 4 mm. Moisten the surface prior filling HomeSure Crack Filler. The edges of the cracks / joints should be neat and free from puddle of water.

Mixing
Take 300-350 ml of clean water in a clean bucket and pour 1 Kg HomeSure Crack Filler. (It is very important that HomeSure Crack Filler to be added in water and not vice versa). Stir continuously by using hand to obtain a homogenous lump-free paste. Allow the resultant paste to stand for about 10 minutes for all the additives to dissolve completely. Re-mix again for about 2 minutes. The paste is now ready for application. Use the prepared mix within 30 minutes.

Dampen the opened crack with clean water and allow excess water to drain off. Fill HomeSure Crack Filler when the surface is a bit moisten and not dried completely. Press Crack Filler paste into the cracks with the help of putty blade or spatula. Level the surface with a putty blade to get smooth and clean surface. If required use very fine emery paper not less than 600 no. Further, apply POP or painter’s putty once it’s fully dried and set.

Precaution & Safety
Avoid inhaling the fine powder particles, wear nose mask while handling. Alkaline materials can seriously damage eye, therefore eye protection is strongly recommended. Alkaline materials are also harmful to skin therefore use of protective gloves. In case of eye or skin contact, flush with clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek for medical help. Store in cool and dry location. Strongly recommended to keep away from the reach of children.
