SAFARI PITH HELMET KID VERSION

The hat is made from the core (pith) of trees that grow in northern Vietnam. They are made one piece at a time; see the images at our Pith Helmets main page.
This helmet has the same properties as the other pith we carry, that being lightweight (the 4-plywood interior is low-density-somewhat like balsa wood).
The pith helmets can be immersed in water, whereby the wearer stays cool during use on hot summer days. Please submerge the outside of the helmet carefully, without allowing water to spill into the interior of the helmet.

Genuine Leather sweatband.

Color: Khaki, Grey.
Size: Adjustable.

(Adjustable via a Velcro-like ending on the interior genuine leather sweatband.)

Due to the handmade nature of the Pith Helmets, please be advised that there may be some minor imperfections in the construction of the hat. These imperfections should not hinder the look or the wear of the helmet.

Mr. Vinh Dinh Dam, Owner of Northern General Trading Company Limited is on your left-hand side and on your right-hand side is the former US ambassador to Vietnam. The man of property graduated from Vietnam Foreign Trade University in 1979.
