4.Quality Control Process 

 

1)Production Line 

 

 Blast Furnace Melton Iron → EAF(EBT/BOV) → LF → VD → Molten Steel → Continuous Casting → Hot Rolling(KOCKS)  → Further Processing

 

(Cold Drawn/Peeling/Turning) (as customer’s option)

 

2)Gas Contents:

 

Oxygen	Nitrogen	Hydrogen
20ppm(max)	90ppm(max)	2ppm(max)

 

3)Macrostructure

 

As per ASTM E 381 Plate,steel shae be better than C2,RTR2,S2

 

1)Microstructure

 

Microstructure of any sample from steel bars:shall be of uniform freeite and pearlite with good machinability.

 

Microstructure shall be of free from undesirable bandings of freote and pearlite.

 

Crain size of as per ASTM E112 shall be of 5~8.

 

 

 

 

5.Avaiable size 

 

Hot rolled round bars	16mm to 120mm
Cold drawn bars	14mm to 60mm

 

 

 

6.Supply condition Surface Treatment: Polishing,Peeling, Turning, Grinding, Milling, Drilling, Boring

 

Heat Treatment: Normalizing, Annealing, Quenching+ Tempering

 

7.Straightness: 3mm/m(max)

 

 

8.Packaging:seaworthy packaging by wire rod,every bunled is about 3-5MT,or as customer’s request,each end of the bar has to be machine cut
