Technical specifications of the aircraft meal cart

The Civil Aircraft meal cart is designed for transporting food and drink to the passengers on an aircraft. It features a clean appearance, simple operation and good braking capability.

The 14 rows of integrated shelf supports allow for ample storage making food trays easy and convenient to load and remove.

The door of the meal-cart can be completely opened until it is flush with the side (270°) — it is kept open and kept from swinging shut by magnets.

The back door of the meal cart can be equipped with cool air and hot air windows if the customer requires. The upper part of the TC220-G and TC330-G meal carts are equipped with a dry-ice drawer in order to cool the cart for food storage when desired. The dry-ice option is both safe and sanitary.

 

Cabinet

The cabinet is an insulated box and can keep both hot items hot or cool items cool. The door, side panels, bottom and top panel can be disassembled for replacement or maintenance — lowering the maintenance cost. The side panels and both of the doors are comprised of a hard foam core sandwiched between powder-coated or PVC-film protected aluminum panels. The inner surface of the side panels is aluminum sheet with integrated drawer guides. The aircraft company selects the decorative color adorning the outside. The top panel is made of a textured, stainless steel.

 

Door lock

Rugged but easy to operate; latch door bar and three-point door bar with lead-filled hole and a hole for attaching a padlock are available.

 

Brake

The brake assembly is rugged; each of the four wheels assemblies have stainless steel fittings with two rubber wheels — each wheel with double bearings. Brakes are operated using a pair of red and green pedals (red for engaging the brake and green for releasing it).

 

Standard

The non-flammable requirement of the materials of the meal cart meet the standards of CCAR-25 “The 25th China Civil Aviation Regulation,” The meal cart is in accordance with GB11333-89 “Aluminum Made Food Container Sanitary Standard for Food”as well as the Atlas standard. It all gets the “Component Design / Manufacture Approval correspondence” No.CDC0011, No.CDC0013, No.CDC0014 from the China Civil Aviation Administration.

With the 14-floor food plates storage orbit can be stored floor by floor for easy storage and take-out.

The door of the meal-cart can be opened at the maximum angle of 270°, and it is fixed by strong magnetic field.

The back door of meal cart can be equipped with cool air and hot air windows if customer require. The upper part of the TC220-G and TC330-G types is equipped with dry-ice drawer in order to cool the temperature for food storage under particular circumstances, furthermore, it features in its safety and sanitation.

 

Cabinet

Box type sealing structure with heat-insulated effect. The door, side panels, bottom and top panel can be disassembled for replacement and maintenance and lower the maintenance expenses. Side panels and both of doors consist of a hard foam sandwich core and covered with aluminium sheet with powder coated or PVC film protection on outer surface. The inner surface of side panels are aluminium sheet with integrated drawer orbit. The surface decorative color is selected by the aircraft company and the top panel takes the stainless steel board with texture.

 

Door lock

Flexible and firm; latch door bar and three-point door bar with lead-filled hole and padlock hole are available.

 

Brake

Reliable brake structure; there are four full stainless steel double rubber foot-wheel at the bottom, each with a double bearings; Red and Green control footboards (red for braking and green for releasing).

 

Standard

The anti-fire requirement of the materials of meal cart meets the related standards of CCAR-21 “The 21th China Civil Aviation Regulation,” The meal cart is in accordance with GB11333-89 “Aluminum-Made Food Container Sanitary Standard for Food.”as well as Atlas standard. It all gets the “Component Design / Manufacture Approval correspondence” No.TSOA0039-XN from the China Civil Aviation Administration.
