Solvent Extraction Equipment Introduction

1. Rotocel extractor adopts chain transmission, unique rotor balance design,with advantages of low rotate speed, small power,stable operation,no noise, low maintenance cost.
Working principle: Adopt organic solvent N-hexane to extract oil through soaking or spraying to get miscella. Separate solvent from oil through evaporating and stripping according to different boiling points between volatile solvent and non-volatile oil to get crude extracted oil. Solvent can be recycled through condensation and separation. Wet meal is separated out through hydraulic cyclone and is conveyed to D.T.D.C.

2). Reduce input of fresh solvent, reduce residual oil rate in meal, improve miscella concentration, achieve energy-saving purpose

2. D.T.D.C

The meal from extractor contains 25-35% solvent, to recover solvent and getting better meal, solvent can be toasted by heating. High material layer Schumacher

Desolventizer is usually applied to remove solvent from meal.

D.T.D.C advantages:

1). Unique breathable pan design,beneficial for materials and steam contacting well, with good desolventizing effect,low steam consumption,low outlet temperature of twice steam.
2). Good sealing, uniform discharging materials,stable material layer, adopt automatic material door discharging control.
3). Meal quality is stable,urease activity reaches national standard,color is light yellow and uniform,no clustering phenomenon,moisture is adjustable,temperature is a little higher than room temperature;

3. Evaporator and stripping tower 

Solvent of miscella is vaporized by heating to improve oil concentration of mixed oil, i.e. volatile solvent is separated from nonvolatile matters. After twice evaporation and separation, adopt steam distillation to reduce boiling point of mixed oil, so as to remove trace solvent off at lower temperature. Evaporator and Steam-stripping tower are key equipment in oil solvent separation process.

Advantages of Negative Pressure Evaporation Comparing Normal Pressure Evaporation

1). Save steam and solvent consumption

Adopt negative pressure evaporation technology, because the boiling point of miscella reduces, make the steam out from DTDC can be used as the heat source of No. 1 evaporator, can save 30% steam consumption.

2). Oil quality is better

Under negative pressure evaporation and steam-stripping condition of miscella, the temperature of oil is lower, can prevent oxidation of oil effectively, avoid burning of impurities in oil, pigment sediment and other phenomenon, the peroxide value is low, the color of crude oil is light, residual solvent is low, and create good condition for later refining process.

4). Condensation area is small, save cooling water consumption

4. Solvent recycle system

Adopt horizontal condenser with stainless steel pipe with cooling water to cool solvent gas from into liquid for recovery,then separate waste water through water solvent separation. Use paraffin absorption tower and desorption tower for exhaust gas recovery.
