Description

Expanded clay ceramic ball ( Garden ball) is a great growing medium for all plants. It provides excellent drainage as well as moisture retention. Use it as a decorative mulch for potted plants, in ground plants, as anadd mix to containers, and as a bottom layer for drainage. It is also widely used in hydroponic growing and is
pH neutral. The pores in the stones store water and release water when required therefore providing an
excellent environment for root development. Ideal for roses, orchids and all types of fruits and vegetables
Light expanded clay aggregate, also commonly referred to as "grow rock", is ideal for indoor hydroponic
growth because of its neutral properties - Garden clay pebble has no acid or alkaline characteristics.

 

Feature:

( 1 ) With developed Surface pore and specific surface area, ceramsite filter material is suitable for all kinds of microbial growth, also the stable and highly active biological membrane in its surface can handle water with high quality.
( 2 ) Take the advantage of regular shape, density moderate, easy to back flush, low energy consumption, back flush do not lose material, ceramsite filter material can overcome the disadvantage of big flow resistance and easy to cause oxidation pond jams andstrong back flush strength and scour broken easily of irregular granular filter material.
( 3 ) With void distribution uniform of precoat, ceramsite filter material can overcome the shortcomings of serious loss and frequent plugging or harden of water caused by non-uniform distribution of pore of filter material layer.
( 4 ) With good use of size grading, ceramsite filter material has strong assimilative capacity and high filter material utilization ratio and wateread loss increase slowly and also with long operation cycle and big water yield.
( 5 ) Ceramsite filter material has compressive strength resistance to friction, high stability of physical and chemical and long service life, etc. Made of inorganic inert material under high temperature, it will not release any material to water to produce secondary pollution even soak for a long time.

 

Application:

1.Expanded Clay Balls is chemically neutral and ensures air penetration to plant roots. At the same time, fungal spores, bacteria and insect pests are avoided. (Main Sizes: 4-8mm, 8-16mm,10-20mm, 10-30mm)

2.Expanded Clay Balls used is a lightweight medium designed specifically for Aquaponics systems.
Clay pebbles have both high porosity and high air content which stimulates the development of strong roots which enhances the growth of your vegetables or plants.(Main Size: 8-16mm, 10-20mm)

3.Expanded Clay Balls used  is used for making solid blocks and hollow blocks of lightweight concrete. Is very light, has great thermal and sound insulation properties and was invented for this purpose(Main Size: 2-4mm, 4-8mm)
