GREENAPG IC 08 is an alkyl polyglucoside surfactant which is made from C8 fatty alcohol and glucose derived from corn. It gives a low environmental impact as it is readily biodegradable and the low aquatic toxicity.
GREENAPG IC 08, which shows superior hydrotropic effects and low foaming property, has very good solubility in high caustic solutions. GREENAPG IC08 gives shorter wetting time in aq. Solution at certain concentration of NaOH than in water. Due to its strong alkaline stability and low foaming property, GREENAPG IC08 can be used as actives or solubilizer in a variety of household cleaning and I&I liquid cleaning systems, especially hard surface applications. Caustic stability, builder compatibility, detergency and hydrotrope properties combine to offer the formulator greater flexibility.

GREENAPG IC 08 is a type of green nonionic-surfactant which exhibits good surface active ability, solubility, strong alkaline stability, emulsifying properties and compatibility. It shows superior wetting property in strong alkaline. The higher concentration of alkaline, the better wetting property it performs. It shows low foaming property. Due to its strong alkaline stability and low foaming property, isooctyl glucoside can be used as actives of strong alkaline system, such as hard-surface cleaning, beer bottle washing and wetting agents for mercerizing of textile industry, etc.
