Description
Roadphalt all-weather cold paving material is a kind of high-tech road patching material, mixed and prepared by using Roadphalt high-performance cold paving additive, asphalt and aggregate according to certain processing technology, with an appearance of black grain-like solid, slight petroleum smell, insoluble in water, insensitive to motive impact and static electricity, and with stable properties. The product can be used in all weather, suitable for patching all kinds of road pavement in all weather and environment (even in water), and it can ensure to repair holes, functional ruts, coats or the edges of cement concrete perpetually and simply use without the need of mixing or adhesive layer.
Advantages and Primary Uses
1. Suitable for all weather and environment
Roadphalt all-weather cold paving material has a wide applicable environment temperature range of -30℃~50℃, with very excellent water-proof property, and it can be constructed in raining/swimming weather and ponding holes.
2. Simple construction
No adhesive oil is needed during repairing and the prepared material can be taken when used, and no heavy-duty equipment is needed. According to the different repairing situation of pavement, impact compaction, artificial compaction or car’s tires compaction can be adopted. Moreover, no traffic closure is needed for the areas repaired by using roadphalt all-weather cold paving material, vehicular traffic can be opened
immediately, which may greatly ease the traffic pressure caused by repairing construction for roads.
3. Good repairing quality
Roadphalt all-weather cold paving material has very strong anti-aging property and cohesive property, the repaired holes are not prone to peeling off and crazing etc bad phenomenon, do not need to be repaired repeatedly, and service life can achieve to 10 years over.
4. Being prone to storage
At normal atmospheric temperature, the sealed fill-bag finished product can be stored for as long as 12 months.
5. Being green and environment-friendly
No dust and black smoke will be produced during the application and production of Roadphalt all-weather cold paving material, moreover, the finished products are not soluble in water, therefore the atmosphere and underground water will not be polluted, which is beneficial for environment protection.
6. Wide applicability
Roadphalt all-weather cold paving material can be widely used in highway,general roads, municipal roads and facilities, airports, bridge expansion joints and other road repair and maintenace.

It can be taken for use at any time according to practical usage, and the rest material can be continued for use in next repair, which may not lead to material waste and realize 100% utilization.
Process of construction
1. Sweep
Generally, the gravel and waste residues in and around the holes to be repaired should be removed thoroughly, and there should not be slurry or gravel in holes. The holes or surrounding trenches in highways or municipal roads should have regular edges, and for removing waste residues, the solid hard surface should be seen before construction.
2. Fill
enough Roadphalt all-weather cold paving material into the holes until the material is 1.5cm or so higher than the ground surface. For repairing highways or municipal roads, the input amount of cold paving material can be increased by 10%~20% or so, after filling the holes over, the central site of the holes should be a little higher than the surrounding pavement and assume arc shape.
3. Compact
Thoroughly press the pavement compacted to get a sound base, the better pavement compaction method is to use steel-wheel road roller or vibrating road roller, and for small holes, shovel can be used to press it compacted. The repaired holes’ surfaces should be clean and regular without wheel marks. The periphery and edges of the holes must be pressed compacted and without loosing. The degree of repair compaction should reach 93% above for common roads and 95% above for highways.
4.Open the traffic
After the repair is complete, the road should be smooth, flat, no wheel tracks, no loose after forming the road.
