Product Description
SIPS are Structural Insulated Panels. They are built using two skins (usually oriented strand board, or OSB, but also can be of cement or MGO board) sandwiching a solid EPS (expanded polystyrene) core. Our SIPS have a lifetime warranty against delamination as we use a structurally rated adhesive by Dow.
SIPS have been used since the 1950´s and are growing in usage every year! SIPS can be manufactured in sizes from as small as 4´ x 8´ (1.22m x 2.44m) up to as large as 8´ x 24´ (2.44m to 7.32m). They are designed to work with standard lumber sizes (2x4, 2x6, 2x8 etc).
