Use for Oxytetracycline hcl

 

1) Oxytetracycline Hcl  is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against a wide variety of bacteria.

2) Oxytetracycline Hcl is used to treat infections causd by Chlamydia (e.g the chest infectionpsittacosis, the

eye infection trachoma, and the genital infection urethritis) and infections caused by Mycoplasma organisms

3) Oxytetracycline Hcl is also used to treat acne.

4) Oxytetracycline may also be used to treat other rarer infections, suche as those caused by a group of micro-

organisms called rickettsiae.
