1.  How long does it take from the date of order to shipment?


Our lead time is within 7 days. It might take one to two months for shipment depending on the location of destination.


 


2.  What are the storage conditions of your products?


Enzymes are proteins. Our products should be stored in the original packaging, sealed and sheltered against direct sunlight. For maximum stability, our products should be stored below 25°C (77°F), preferably refrigerated at 5°C (41°F) for long-term storage.


 


3.  How long is the shelf-life?


The normal shelf-life our products is six months if stored below 25°C(77°F) properly as recommended; longer shelf-life should be possible if refrigerated at 5°C (41°F).


 


4.  What else should I know for safely handling your products?


Common safety precautions for handling chemical substances should be observed. Inhalation of enzyme dust or aerosols should be avoided due to enzymes may cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. Splashing should also be avoided. Spilled products should be flushed away with water immediately. Wear suitable protective gloves, safety glasses and nose covers. In case of contact with the skin or eyes, promptly rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. It is always recommended to refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for further information regarding safely handling the products.

Description
BAA-0100 is made from submerged culture of Bacillus subtilis through extraction and refining processes. It is a kind of endoamylase, which rapidly decreases the viscosity of the gelatinous starch solution by randomly hydrolyzing starch, glycogen and its degradation products within the α -1, 4 glycosidic bonds and produces soluble dextrins and oligosaccharides. Excessive hydrolysis may result in a small quantity of glucose and maltose.

Effect of pH 
Optimum pH 6.0, stable pH range 6.0 to 7.0, inactivated dramatically with pH below 5.0.


 


Effect of Temperature
Optimum temperature ranges from 60 to 70º C, stable temperature below 60º C. At a temperature range of 70 to 90º C, the reaction speeds up when the temperature rises while the inactivation also speeds up.
