Ti(C,N)-based cermet rods
Our company production of Ti(C, N) based cermets(Grade:LFT15), hardness up to 92.5HRA, strengh up to 2.0-2.1Gpa.Grain size less than 0.8 micron,belong to the ultrafine metal ceramics.By adding carbon titanium nitride and other metal and ceramic powder additive,Having a fine structure,can guarantee the quality of the surface of the workpiece in various of cutting conditions.Having excellent thermal shock resistance and the optimal wear resistance and toughness,And having excellent resistance to plastic deformation and bue.
1.Brief introduction of cermet cutting tools:
Ti (CN)substrate cermets cutting tool has very good application.Compareed with tungsten carbide cutting tools,cermets cutting tool has advantages of lower density,harder,much lower friction for machining steel, better thermal stability when machining, close toughness, lower causticity and heat conduction, better wear resistance.
Working in the same condition,Ti CN based cermets cutting tool has longer using life and can be used under faster cutting speed. We can get more finish workpiece with smoother furface using cermets cutting tool. From avove, we have used Ti CN based cermets cutting tool to replace WC based carbide cutting tool in some fields successfully.It is suitable for Semifinishing and finishing machining of steel and wear part spcially.
2.Main application:
1) cermet sealing ring
It can used as sealing fittings and gliding fittings in the fields of metallurgy, chemical and industrial, medicine,foodstuff, causticity resistance, automobile, engine etc. This kind of products has good characters of causticity resistance, wear resistance and oxidation resistance under high temperate, good air sealing and long using life.
2) Cermet nozzle, wear part:
It can be used as nozzle of spray sands, nozzle of concrete cutting, nozzle for fields of thermoelectricity factory etc.
It has characters of high hardness, wear resistance etc.
The using life is 6-10 times of general material products.
3) Cutting tools
TIC,N) substrate cermets cutting tools have chargater of high hardness, outstanding thermal stability, good wear-resistance and good toughness etcc. This product has very well causticity-resistance and oxidation -resistance in high temperature, The density of this products is very light, As cutting tool, it is suitable for the fields of amchining in high cutting speed and getting finish sureface, such as the fields of automobile, motocycle and aero plance etc.
Cermets mainly including high wear resistance,high toughness,high obdurability,TiCN substrate cemented carbide cutting tools including turning cutter, milling cutter,dirll,hob,disk cutter etc. It be used for finishing and semi-finishing
