Physical & Chemical Properties 

Appearance: white crystalline solid.

Melting Point: 141-144°C.

Vapour Pressure: 1.6 x 10^-7Pa at 20°C.

Stability: Solubility in water 3.9mg/L, slight solubility in aliphatic hydrocarbons, moderate in ethanol and common aromatic solvents.

 

Toxicity      

Oral LD50 5000 mg/kg, dermal LD50 (rabbits) is greater than 2000 mg/kg.

 

Application 

It is a systemic conduction herbicide, can be used in corn field. It can prevent and eliminate 27 kinds of annual weeds and perennial broadleaf weeds such as Echinochloa crusgalli P. beauv etc.. It has better effectiveness to Lambs’s-quarters and reed.

Selective post-emergence control in maize of annual grass weeds including Setaria, Echinochloa, Digitaria, Panicum, Lolium, and Avena spp., broad-leaved weeds including Amaranthus spp. and Cruciferae, and perennials such as Sorghum halepense and Agropyron repens. Applied at 35-70 g/ha.
