Description.

• Action: plant growth regulator with systemic properties. It penetrates into plant tissue, and is decomposed to ethylene; which affects growth processes.
• Uses: widely used to accelerate ripening of fruits, tomato, sugar beet, coffee, etc; to increase the tillering of wheat and rice; to prevent lodging in rice, maize and flax; to accelerate boll opening and defoliation in cotton; to hasten the yellowing of mature tobacco leaves; to stimulate latex flow     in rubber trees, and resin flow in pine trees; to stimulate early uniform hull split in walnuts; etc.

Promoting the fruit mature

1. Tomatoes ripened, can be used with pedicel, fruit and TuGuo method.
With pedicel: tomato fruit at white period, with 300 mg/kg of ethephon on pedicel.
TuGuo: with 400 mg/kg of ethephon painted in white ripe fruit fruit sepals and near the surface.
Turn dipped fruit: color period after harvest in 200 mg/kg ethephon solution soak 1 minute, then scoop out of 25 degrees Celsius under red.
Field spray fruit ripening: late harvest, with 1000 mg/kg ethephon solution fruit injection in the plant on the key.
2. The watermelon with a 100-300 mg/kg ethephon solution spraying has great watermelon, can be 5-7 days early maturity, increase soluble solids 1% 3%, increase the sweetness of watermelon, promote seed maturity, reduce white melon seed.
