Vacuum splint is one of the most versatile tools. It’s great for simple and angulated extremity fractures, dislocated shoulders and hip injuries,
pedictric immobilization and even a combination head immobilizer and backboard pad.
By filling the voids underneath the patient and molding to the contours of the patient’s head and torso,it provides a firm yet comfortable head and back support.
It has been designed to aid in stabilization of an injured or ill person with a minimum amount of movement to the injured are or extremity.
Unlike a rigid board splint or metal ladder splint, it uses vaccum technology yo conform to the exact shape and contours of patient’s anatomy, providing improved immobilization without circumferential pressure.

1. The Fast-shaping-System keeps the internal polystyrene beads in their correct position and eliminates
the need for difficult and time consuming manual spreading of the beads.
This enables fast, safe and easy application in all situations, simple handling and lowest possible
weight and size for easy transportation and storage.
2. The external material
To achieve outstanding durability, abrasion resistance, tightness, easy clean up and comfort for the patient a special TPU ester material was chosen.
