Spray applied polyurea coating SPU-351P

SPUA-351P is two components spray-up elastic coating applied in dry and warm condition. Component A is a half prepolymer through the reaction between hydroxyl terminal compounds and isocyanate. Component B is a mixture consisting of amino terminal resign and amino terminal chain extender, including activator, a little bit pigments and dispersive additives.

Component A and B of SPUA-351P are sealed in 220kg and 200kg pails, respectively.

 

Store:

SPUA-351P material should be stored by clean, dry and sealed pails at dry and well-ventilated shade places, avoiding direct sunshine. The temperature in stored places should between 10° C and 40° C. It can not be closed to fire sources. The normal shelf time is 12 months.

 

SPUA-351P is needed to be avoided rain, insolation, extrusion, collision and inversion. Keep the packages without damages. Fire sources are forbidden during transportation. The temperature during transportation should between 10° C and 40° C.

Constructive System

The system is basically consisted of substrate, priming coat, waterproof coated membrane and protection layer or finish paint for exposure part.

 

Application Method

Surface preparation

Surfaces should be dry, stable, clean, smooth and free from any dusts, oil or loose particles. For metal substrate, blasting and polishing is necessary to clean slag or rust. Field corners need to be polished into curve. Spray polyurethane or epoxy resins primer on the surfaces, and then apply SPUA coating.

 

Application of waterproof coated membrane

Use professional spray equipment to apply. The mixing ration is 1:1. In order to guarantee uniformity of film thickness, it is better to paint 2 times to achieve the designed thickness.

 

Spray application on the edge

Open trenches or deal with joints according to the practical spray condition of polyurea.

 

Quality control

Polyurea waterproof membrane should be sprayed equally and adhered to substrate tightly without cracking, shedding, holes and uneven gauge.
