1. STRONG TOXIC INSECTICIDES

Carbofuran

Broad spectrum, controlling insects, nematode by contact, stomach action.

Long residual life. Be available for soil and seed treatment.

Crops: cotton, rice, bean, maize, sorghum, sugarcane, tobacco, woods.

Control: plant hopper, aphid, thripid, underground insects, nematode, etc.

2. MEDIUM AND LOW TOXICITY, ORGANOPHOSPHORUS INSECTICIDES.

Trichlorfon

Stomach and contact action insecticide to permeate into plant.

It will be decomposed as DDVP in the insect body.

Control: agriculture insect, public health insect, external parasites of livestock.

3. CARBAMATE PESTICIDES

(STRONG TOXIC: CARBOFURAN,METHOMYL)

contact and stomach action, broad spectrum

Carbaryl

It will take efficiency in 2 days after application. Last for over 7 days. The efficiency will increase if mix with organophosphorus insecticides.

Crop: rice, cotton, fruit tree, tee, mulberry

Control: borer, moths, bollworm

Isoprocarb, Fenobucarb

systemic action. Quick acting and short duration. Long toxicity, easy to decompose and no residual.

Control: rice hopper, thriphid, aphid, leech.

Propoxur

systemic action. Quick acting and long duration

Crop: tree, vegetable ,rice

Control: stored insect, external parasite of livestock

Pirimicarb

the stomach action will increase when temperature is over 20C.

Control: aphid

Bendiocarb

systemic action. No irritation. Be toxic to fish and bee.

Crop: vegetable, melon, potato, rice, maize, sorghum, orange

Control: most insect, underground insect by seed or soil treatment.

Carbosulfan

The toxicity will be one eighteenth of Carbofuran, it will also convert into Carbofuran in the insect body. Stomach and contact action. Broad spectrum and long duration. No accumulated toxicity.

Thiodicarb

The toxicity will be one forth to one third of Methomyl. Stomach, ovicidal and contact action. Last for 7~10 days. The efficiency will increase if mix with organophorphuros, pyrethroid insecticides.

Control: Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera.

4. PYRETHROID INSECTICIDE

High efficiency and broad spectrum, easy to cause resistance.

Fenvalerate

Contact, stomach and ovicidal action. The toxicity is 10~20 times of DDT. Negative temperature coefficient, it should be applied at nightfall.

S-Fenvalerate

Similar to Fenvalerate, the efficiency is 4 times of Fenvalerate.

Deltamethrin

Highest toxicity, 100 times to DDT. Strong contact action, stomach and ovicidal action. Antifeedant will happen to the larva when low concentrate.

Control: aphid, leaf insect, insect borer

Cypermethrin

Similar to Fenvalerate, the toxicity is 2 times of Fenvalerate. Contact, stomach, ovicidal action.

Alpha Cypermethrin

Cis mixture with high toxicity in Cypermethrin. The toxicity is 2~3 times of Cypermethrin. Be similar to Cypermethrin.

Beta Cypermethrin

Cis and tran mixture (40: 60) with high toxicity in Cypermethrin. Be similar to Cypermethrin. The efficiency is 2 times of Cypermethrin, the toxicity is 70~75% of Cypermethrin

Cyfluthrin

/Cyhalothrin

Strong contact and stomach action. The toxicity is the same as Beta Cypermethrin. It can control the insect with resistance, e.g. spider mite.

Beta-cyhalothrin

The isomer of Cyfluthrin, and be similar to it. The toxicity is lower than Cyfluthrin while the efficiency is 2 times of Cyfluthrin.

Lambda-Cyhalothrin

The efficiency is the highest, same as Deltamethrin. The toxicity is the same as alpha Cypermethrin. It can also control mite.

Bifenthrin

Kill spider mites. Contact and stomach action. Repellent, antifeedant. Quick acting and long duration. The toxicity is the same as alpha Cypermethrin. Better efficiency in low temperature (Spring and Autumn)

Fenpropathrin

Also control spider mite. Long duration

5. BENZOYLUREAS INSECTICIDES (BPUS)

Chitin synthesis inhibitor. Stomach action is the main. Also for contact and ovicidal action. It should be applied in the stage of larva, it has no efficiency to adult insects but will cause infertility.

Small dosage. And no cross resistance with other kinds of insecticides.

Broad spectrum, control: agriculture insect of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Homoptera, public health insect of Diptera.

High selectivity and low toxicity. 

Difllubenzuron

Special efficiency to Lepidoptera, Diptera, Coleoptera. No effect to cotton bollworm.

Chlorbenzuron

Broad spectrum, good efficiency.

Hexaflumuron

The same as Diflubenzuron, but it can kill cotton bollworm and Caradrinidea effectively

Flufenoxuron

The same as Diflubenzuron, but it can kill mite

Chlorfluazuron

Control: cotton bollworm and pink bollworm

Teflubenzuron

The same as Hexaflumuron and Chlorfluazuron. But higher toxicity. Quick acting.

Buprofezin

Not Benzoylurea insecticide, but also inhibit the synthesis of Chitin. Strong contact and stomach action. It will shorten adult insect’s lifetime.

Control: plant hopper, leafhopper, whitefly, scale insect.

6. CHLORONICOTINYL INSECTICIDES

Selectively control the acetylcholinesterase receptor in the nerve system of insect, block the regular transfer of central nerve system, the insect will die for paralysis. 

Low toxicity to mammal and environment. Broadspectrum. Stomach and contact action.

Control: Sucking-piercing mouthpart insects. Homoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera and Lepidoptera insects.

Imidacloprid

Mainly control: sucking-piercing mouthpart insects.

Acetamiprid

Quick acting and long duration. Also Control: Hemiptera insect, underground insect

Thiamethoxam

Also systemic action. High activity to Homoptera insects.

Nitenpyram

Great effect to aphid, whitefly, thripid, rice hopper.

Dinotefuran

Crop: rice, fruit tree, vegetable, etc.

Thiacloprid

Also kill beetles.

Clothianidin

Be similar to Imidaclopride

7. OTHER SYNTHESIS INSECTICIDE

contact action

Fipronil

Stomach toxicity. High efficiency, no harm to crop.

Control: aphid, whitefly, plant hopper, larva of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, fly.

Chlorfenapyr

Stomach and low toxicity. No cross resistance with oranophorsphorus, carbamate, pyrethroid insecticides.

Control: cabbage moth, larva

Diafenthiuron

Insecticide and acaricide with stomach and systemic action. Good efficiency in sunny day. Long duration and low toxicity. Broadspectrum.

Control: aphid, whitefly, leafhopper, noctuid.

8. NATURAL INSECTICIDE

Rotenone

Extracted from the root of trifoliate jewelvine. Strong stomach action, contact action.High toxicity will take effect when it go into the blood. Easy to decompose and not residual

Control: vegetable insect.

Abamectin

Emamectin

Antibiotic insecticide and acaricide with stomach and contact action to paralyze the insect and insect will die in 2~4 days. Slow acting but long duration, no cross resistance with others. broadspectrum
