Capillary thermostats

A capillary thermostat controls the temperature with a pressurised system that operates according to the principle of expansion of liquid. It comprises a temperature sensing bulb, a capillary tube and a diaphragm.
Following an increase in temperature at the bulb, the liquid expands in the capillary tube, causing the diaphragm to move. This movement activates a snap-action switch, causing opening or closing of switch contacts.
TOPRO capillary thermostats are characterized by accurate temperature control, reliable, small on/off temperatures difference, a wide range of temperature control and large over loaded current etc.
TOPRO can supply temperature controls, sensors and limiters with bulb and with capillary tube length according to customer specification for applications such as:
